When you connect to the server, you will see the following list of directories:
.autorespond
.fantasticodata
.htmltemplates
.htpasswds
.spamassassin
.trash
cpanel3-skel
cpanelbranding
etc
mail
public_ftp
public_html
tmp
www
It is very important that you do not delete or rename any of the files or folders that are on the server. The directory you will be working with is 'public_html'. If your files are not in the publc_html directory, then they will not be visable on the internet.
It is also important that you replace the index page in your public_html directory. The page can be index.htm, .html, .php. If you have more then one index page in your directory, the default will go to index.html.
